Promise Through Covenant

When people have broken their word to you, it gets hard to trust anyone's promises. Even God's.

Promise Through Covenant walks you through the story of God keeping His word, from the rainbow after the flood to the new covenant in Jesus. Over four weeks you will see that God moves first, keeps what He says, and holds on to you in the long stretch between a promise and its fulfillment.

Each day is a two-page spread you can finish in about ten minutes:

• A Scripture verse printed in full from the World English Bible
• A message of the day that opens the verse in its context and brings it into real life
• A short prayer you can pray as written or make your own
• A journal prompt with lined space to write

Four weekly themes:

• Week 1: Covenant Begins with God
• Week 2: Promises Fulfilled in Christ
• Week 3: Waiting on the Promise
• Week 4: Living Under the Promise

Six devotions a week leave the seventh day for rest and reflection. Every week opens with an introduction and Pause and Reflect questions, and closes with a blessing and Before You Turn the Page, a set of questions for looking back. At the end of the book you will find eight guided prayers for specific moments and 18 guided Scripture readings with notes to keep going.
