Identity in Christ

You have been called a lot of things. Some of them still echo.

Identity in Christ helps you trade the old labels for what God actually says about you. Over four weeks you will read who you are in Christ, name the lies you have believed, learn what it looks like to live as a changed person, and practice standing on that truth when your feelings argue with it.

Each day is a two-page spread you can finish in about ten minutes:

• A Scripture verse printed in full from the World English Bible
• A message of the day that opens the verse in its context and brings it into real life
• A short prayer you can pray as written or make your own
• A journal prompt with lined space to write

Four weekly themes:

• Week 1: Who Does God Say You Are
• Week 2: Letting Go of Lies
• Week 3: Living a New Identity
• Week 4: Standing Firm in the Truth

Six devotions a week leave the seventh day for rest and reflection. Every week opens with an introduction and Pause and Reflect questions, and closes with a blessing and Before You Turn the Page, a set of questions for looking back. At the end of the book you will find eight guided prayers for specific moments and 18 guided Scripture readings with notes to keep going.

Written for anyone wrestling with insecurity, shame, comparison or an old identity, and newer believers learning what it means to belong to Christ. The pages are simple and uncluttered, which makes it a thoughtful gift for a friend, a small group or someone just starting out in faith.
